Education
Mr. Thomson holds an A.B. in Government & Law, with honors, from Lafayette College, a J.D. from the University of Connecticut School of Law, and an LL.M. with a concentration in European Business Regulation from the Trinity College Dublin School of Law in Dublin, Ireland, where he graduated tied for First in his class. He served as a member of the Connecticut Moot Court Board, as well as on the Editorial Boards of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal and the Trinity College Law Review.

Mr. Thomson is a member of the Ethics Committee of the Hartford County Bar Association, the Executive Committee of the Young Lawyers Section of the Connecticut Bar Association and Chair of the Section’s Technology Law Committee, the Executive Committee of the International Law & Practice Section of the Connecticut Bar Association, the Massachusetts Bar Association and the Defense Research Institute.
Fletcher C. Thomson is an associate in the firm’s litigation and dispute resolution practice group. He is licensed to practice in the state courts of Connecticut, Massachusetts and New York, as well as in the federal courts of the District of Connecticut and District of Massachusetts.
Experience
Mr. Thomson is experienced in representing businesses and individuals in state and federal court litigation in multiple jurisdictions, as well as in advising clients on risk management and pre-suit dispute resolution. He regularly handles matters involving complex and novel legal issues, and has represented clients in a variety of different types of legal matters, including breach of contract, employer liability, unfair trade practice claims, forged check liability, defense and prosecution of spoliation claims and product liability defense.
Mr. Thomson has also represented corporate clients in defense and prosecution of trade secret misappropriation claims brought under the Connecticut Uniform Trade Secrets Act. In 2010, Mr. Thomson was part of a team of Rogin Nassau lawyers who successfully obtained the largest trade secret verdict in Connecticut history.
Prior to joining Rogin Nassau, Mr. Thomson practiced in the Hartford office of a large Connecticut-based law firm. He represented foreign-based and international businesses, Fortune 100 companies, and local and national manufacturers and retailers in litigation and corporate transactions having both local and international scope.
