Education
Mr. Wax-Krell received his BA in History in 2001 from Emory University and his J.D. in 2005 from the University of Connecticut.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association and the Hartford County Bar Association.
 

Matthew T. Wax-Krell is an associate in the firm’s commercial litigation and bankruptcy and reorganization groups. He handles cases involving various types of real estate transaction disputes, banking and lending transactions, and civil and commercial law. Mr. Wax-Krell also works on bankruptcy and reorganization matters. He regularly appears in all state and federal courts, including bankruptcy court.

Mr. Wax-Krell received his BA in History in 2001 from Emory University and his J.D. in 2005 from the University of Connecticut. He served as Notes & Comments Editor of the Connecticut Insurance Law Journal from 2004-2005. He also received the Pudlin Scholarship in 2005, an award recognizing distinction in the study of the First Amendment and in teaching its history and values.

Prior to joining Rogin Nassau as a summer associate, he worked as a law clerk for Judge Robert F. McWeeny in the Complex Litigation Docket of the Waterbury Superior Court.

He currently serves as a Member of the Connecticut Bar Examining Committee and as a Member of the Board of Directors of Greater Hartford Legal Aid, Inc.

He was also named to the Super Lawyers “Connecticut Rising Star” list in the area of business litigation in both 2009 and 2010.
